SAVANNAH, GA – October 4, 2023 – Coastal Heritage Society is getting into the Halloween spirit by hosting a special viewing of the iconic film “Rocky Horror Picture Show” at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 27 at the Savannah History Museum theater located on 303 MLK Jr Blvd. in Savannah.
In this 1975 classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
“One of the goals of Coastal Heritage Society is to provide engaging content and opportunities for all age groups, so we are excited to introduce this new experience,” said CHS CEO Nora Lee. “I can’t think of a better way for adults in our community to get into the Halloween spirit than attending our screening of the classic movie, ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’, at Savannah History Museum.”
Tickets for this 21 and up event are $35 per person and can be purchased by visiting https://bit.ly/CHSRockyHorror2023.
