Savannah African Art Museum will be hosting world-renowned jazz trombonist Teddy Adams and his sextet of talented local artists for a free outdoor concert titled “African Rhythms to American Treasures: Celebrating The African Roots Of Jazz”.
Savannah African Art Museum is slated to host a “Honoring Women Trailblazers” workshop for Women’s History Month, featuring Connie Williams on Saturday, March 25 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Terracotta Gallery, located at 201 East 37th Street in Savannah.
The Savannah African Art Museum will be unveiling a new exhibit, "Between Two Worlds: Connecting the Realms of the Seen and Unseen" during the Savannah Black Heritage Festival (SBHF) on Saturday, February 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
