BuddyWatch, Inc. is a new nonprofit organization with the mission of building homes for veterans and launching a revolutionary new bird feeder to provide funds and occupation for homeless veterans. On Nov. 10, the organization and Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting on five acres of land that has been donated by BuddyWatch, Inc. Founder Jo Coleman.
Small (800 ft2) cottages will be built on this land and designated as the “Polaris” community. In addition to the cottages, Polaris will include a health clinic with licensed clinicians available on site to provide individual and group therapy for the veterans living in the community and workshops for the production of bird watch feeders.
