MARY’S PLACE SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER OF THE COASTAL EMPIRE TO HOST EXTENSIVE LINEUP OF EVENTS DURING APRIL’S SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH
Mary’s Place Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire, formerly the Rape Crisis Center, is slated to host an impressive lineup of community events and initiatives as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) this April. This year, Mary’s Place will be hosting a press conference and lighting up the City of Savannah’s City Hall (2 E. Bay Street) to kick off SAAM on Wednesday, April 1st on the steps of City Hall. The press conference is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to arrive at 7:30 p.m. with the building lighting happening at 7:45 p.m.

Mary’s Place: Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire, Inc. announces tickets are now on sale for the fourth annual ‘Find Your Voice’ lip sync competition. ‘Find Your Voice’ is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, April 24, at Victory North, located at 2603 Whitaker Street in Savannah. The returning competition is the nonprofit’s largest fundraising event of the year, helping raise awareness of the services the organization provides to survivors of rape and sexual abuse in the Lowcountry.
