BLOG – SEPTEMBER 2023 – LOOKING BACK

2023 has been an incredible year for LFPR so far. We have continued to add quality team members and wonderful new clients. Catherine Kilburg joined us this summer as our Digital Media Coordinator, as social media and online marketing have become a more important part of marketing solutions. Catherine is responsible for creating, disseminating, and analyzing digital media content across platforms, including social media, blogs, email, and websites. She is a key team member and among other duties, works to create quality social media programs for our clients including Foxy Loxy, Savannah Magazine, Self Soulstice, Ariel Savannah Angel Partners, Savannah Challenger and more.

We were excited to unveil our new look and branding which reflects all the services we offer in PR, Marketing and Design in a contemporary style. Kudos to our VP of Digital Design and Team LFPR for realizing our company’s vision to reflect the company we are today in our 12th year of business.

We are thrilled to have been appointed by so many quality organizations, individuals and businesses as their marketing partners this year. Telfair Museums selected LFPR to support their media relations programs and specifically to ensure a spectacular launch of their new Children’s Art Museum this summer. Celebrating its 40th year in the Coastal Empire, Habitat for Humanity has helped nearly 200 families in the community purchase safe and affordable homes, with more than a quarter of partner families having already fully paid off their mortgages. We are honored to have been appointed as their marketing agency to promote their initiatives and raise the profile of their important work. LFPR has also been appointed to work with Coastal Heritage Society, a source of enjoyable education, historic preservation, exhibits and events for nearly 50 years. Their six museums include Savannah History Museum, Savannah Children’s Museum, Georgia State Railroad Museum, Old Fort Jackson, Pinpoint Heritage Museum and Harper Fowlkes House. LFPR continues to donate 20% of our billable time to nonprofit organizations and we value our long-standing partnerships with amazing local nonprofits including 200 Club, Family Promise and Mary’s Place (formerly Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire) as well as Savannah African Art Museum and Savannah VOICE Festival which is one of our longest standing clients and celebrated its 11th season this summer.

In addition to the many concerts enjoyed at this festival, we have been involved in some amazing fundraisers and community initiatives including the inaugural lip-sync competition for

Mary’s Place, Juneteenth at Savannah African Art Museum and the community celebration for Habitat for Humanity’s 40th celebration. Stay tuned for the 200 Club Valor Awards and Appreciation Gala next month and Habitat for Humanity’s annual Home for the Holidays Gala in early December.

Looking back on our educational clients’ achievements, I have to acknowledge the great success of our longstanding client, Savannah Classical Academy whose student results once again exceeded the district and state and showed an excellence in reading. Check out their new website at www.savannahclassicalacademy.org which LFPR developed earlier this year. Georgia Tech Savannah goes from strength to strength and their summer camps for K-12 camps were exceptional – my own granddaughters enjoyed their STEAM camps experience on the GTS campus. Looking at protecting young people, LFPR is pleased to continue our work in Bulloch, Johnson and McIntosh Counties to support the mission of prevention of tobacco, alcohol and substance abuse.

Looking to other new clients on the business side, LFPR was delighted to be appointed as the marketing team for Outside Brands earlier this year The award-winning adventure team of Outside Brands™ offers uniquely crafted guided experiences in Hilton Head and Palmetto Bluff, SC, Savannah, GA, and beyond. We are also working in Richmond Hill to support local business and family man Chris Raiford in his campaign to join the City Council. We developed a great new website for Hinesville based accountants, Pedrick and Company. We are pleased to continue our long-standing business relationships with Megateeth Fossils, Convention Consultants, Line-X in Savannah and Liberty County and Asbury Memorial.

Finally, we are very pleased to be back in Port Wentworth, working as the marketing team, not only for the Chamber of Commerce but also the City of Port Wentworth. This area is experiencing exciting growth and under the leadership of the talented individuals at both the City and Chamber, we know that their future will be bright!

Until next time. – enjoy your fall season!
